Week 4 - 21/10/2017

Congratulations to U/11 Elli Symonds  who showed jumping continues to be her forte by claiming her second Centre record for the season.  Following on from last week's Hurdles triumph, Elli this week thrilled the gathered crowd with her prowess in the High Jump.  Clearing the bar at 1.31m, Elli claimed the record for her own as she surpassed the 1.30m set by Chantelle Baxter in February 2003.  Elli’s Under 10 record of 1.33m suggests she will be adding to the new record before the season is complete.

Week 3 - 14/10/2017

Congratulations to U/11 athlete Elli Symonds who claimed the 60m Hurdles record on the weekend in her first meet for the season.  Elli soared over the hurdles on Saturday to set a new record time of 10.85 to beat the previous time of 11.18 set by R. Browning in November 2006.  The third week of the season has become a firm favourite with Symonds as she has broken Centre records for hurdles in the same round in the previous 2 seasons.
